New Year, New Jacket
I have a weakness for Vivienne Westwood. Specifically, her jackets. So, when I was out shopping the other day at my friendly neighborhood Century 21, I couldn’t help but pick this one up for myself. I had started by trying on a gorgeous Martin Margiela tuxedo jacket, which unfortunately was ill-proportioned for my body type. As I sadly returned the Margiela jacket back to the rack, a glen plaid washed wool fabric caught my eye. As soon as I pulled out the jacket to get a closer look, I knew it was for me. It just sang out my name. I hurriedly ran to the nearest mirror, stripped off my winter coat, scarf, and hoodie and slipped the jacket on. It was so quirky and cool and so ME! Off to the register I went and saved over $800. You gotta love designer discount shopping.
Here I am in my new Anglomania by Vivienne Westwood jacket worn with a white silk Club Monaco tie front blouse and a pair of high-waisted J.Brand jeans.

The jacket closed…

and open.

I love the subtle red pop in the glen plaid pattern of the jacket. My Dina Sutter rutilated quartz necklace is simple yet bold piece that looks great with such strong statement jacket.

My favorite brown leather Erotokritos bag is the perfect bag. It’s modern details and large size punctuate the overall look of the outfit.

On my feet, my trusty Frye brown leather boots. Please note the length of the jeans covers the top of the shoe. This length elongates the leg.
